The first gathering of the Friends of the Madeline Island Museum will be Sunday, July 10 at 3 p.m. at Ojibwe Memorial Park, next to the marina warming pond.

Paul DeMain will introduce us to the history and significance of the site and Jean Teisberg will review how it was saved from development for condos.

Pixie and Jay have kindly invited us to their place at 258 South Shore Road for light refreshments and a brief meeting afterwards
